Pumpkin Pie Crunch

This recipe is a long time family favorite~I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!!

1 box yellow cake mix, without the pudding in it
16 oz. can of pumpkin (I use the kind with spice so I don't need to add any spices to the cake)
12 oz. can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
**4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice if you use the pumpkin that has none in it

Spray a 9X13" pan. Mix pumpkin, e. milk, eggs, salt, sugar and spice (*see note*). Pour into pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top and then drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes, or until it looks browned and has a bit of a crust on it. Serve with cool whip or alone.
