MSG free Taco Seasoning

If you are MSG intolerant, give this recipe a try. I know I will never go back to store bought seasonings.

1 Tbsp chili powder
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. onion powder
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
1/4 t. oregano
1/2 t. paprika
1 1/2 t. cumin
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
1 t. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. minced onion

1 Tbsp. cornstarch **see note**
1 beef bouillon cube **see note**
3/4 cup water  **see note**

Mix the first 11 ingredients in a jar. I bought a Parmesan cheese jar and have this in my spice cupboard at all times. It is great on chicken as well as ground beef.
Once your beef or chicken is browned and drained, sprinkle the cornstarch over meat and stir. Add water and 3 Tbsp. of the seasoning mix. 
Allow time to simmer so all the flavors mix well. You may have to add more water depending on how moist you like your meat.
